Accu-Brite is privately-owned and operated by William Lockhart. The Carbondale native worked for Accu-Brite in its beginning stages before purchasing it in 2000. Accu-Brite  is not a franchise. Bill strives to provide the highest quality carpet and upholstery cleaning services to local homeowners, landlord, and businesses at a fair and reasonable price. Bill has been certified as a carpet cleaner and color repair technician by the “IICRC” (The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification.)

Buyer Beware: There are companies out there that do not require their workers to be certified.

We use only the Bane-Clene carpet cleaning system and their chemicals. Our system is the most dependable and efficient equipment on the market. It is totally electric, runs on only 15 amps. Our system leaves no mess in your home or business. Our cleaning machines are truck mounted, with the option of portable units, if needed. We bring our hoses from our van into your home, pre-treat stains, etc., and steam clean the carpet. You wouldn’t believe what comes out of your carpet! We have a high percentage on stain removal.

However, there are certain stains that cannot be clean. Anything that has been bleached, discolored, which includes certain dyes, or pet urine stains that has changed color.

Dirt and grime goes from your carpet to our van! We even supply our own water! Beware of the carpet cleaners that use your water! It can cause a mess, and how hot can the water get from your faucet? We have our water anywhere from 140-150 degrees.

WHAT’S IN OUR SOLUTION

We have a powdered detergent called PCA Formula 5, a low pH, 100% active product, also combined with a Booster we use, which dramatically improves cleaning performance without raising the pH level. Finally, we use a perfume additive with our cleaning solution, which will leave a pleasant, lingering, aromatic fragrance in a room after the cleaning is finished. The aroma is delicate and fresh, avoiding the overpowering cheaper traits of many lesser products.

The process takes hours to dry, not days! Overwetting is very bad for your carpet! We deep clean your carpet all the way to the backing, not through to the padding! We don’t try to sell you anything, change prices at the site, or any dis-honest act. The price we quote is the price you pay!
