B/P Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning History

B/P Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, Inc. was established in May 1988 by Bobby Anderson. During this time, Bobby worked for Borden International, Inc. as a Marketing Coordinator. As a coordinator, his responsibilities included putting together product packaging, product advertising and promotional efforts. While working there, Bobby cleaned carpet on the weekend. After six months, Bobby left his job and focused his attention on the carpet cleaning business.

From the beginning, Bobby realized the importance of education within the industry. The first carpet cleaning class was a DuPont Stainmaster certification course taught by Doyle Bloss of Steamway International. Bobby has continued his education by taking courses in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, odor control, carpet repair and reinstallation, water damage restoration and is currently registered as a senior carpet inspector. As s Senior Carpet Inspector, Bobby has been exposed to every soiling condition, manufacturing problem and installation-related claim that exists.
