With more of us staying at home during this pandemic and having 4 pets (3 cats and a dog) we found that it was that time again to have the carpets, tiles and grout thoroughly cleaned. In looking for a company, we decided we wanted to go with a local company versus a national outfit. After looking at many of the positive reviews about Cranmore on Yelp, we gave them a call and haven't regretted the decision since doing so. First of all, they were very easy to reach by phone with someone in the office taking your call -- no being put on hold, no leaving a voicemail, etc. I spoke with Tiffany who answered the phone and was a charm to work with. She provided me with a preliminary quote based on the number of rooms I had in mind, plus a price for the tile and grout cleaning based on square footage of the house. After liking and agreeing with their quote and reasonable pricing, I requested an in-person visit for a more accurate quote. Scheduling this was a breeze as they were able to work around my schedule and fit me in comfortably, and in addition, their availability and scheduling was wide open. The technician who visited was very friendly, personable, punctual and professional. He visited, walked around counting rooms, asked a couple questions about what we wanted done, asked questions about the tiles and grout we wanted cleaned, and was done in about. 20-30 minutes. We had some questions about the process, e.g. would there be any after chemical smells, would we need to have the windows and doors opened after, is the chemicals used safe for the pets, would there be an sticky residue as we encountered with our last carpet cleaning company, etc. Once the second in-person quote was completed, we immediately scheduled and they were able to fit us in quickly and within a week. On the day of the service, the technician (same one who visited to provide the quote which was nice to see consistency) was once again punctual. He was setup within no time and began working from carpeted room-to-carpeted room (upstairs first), stairways, then downstairs after along with the tiles and grout throughout. Overall the entire process was about 4-5 hours as the technician was very efficient. Upon completion and post-procedure walkthrough, the many pet stains were now gone, the carpeting looked brand new and alive, and the tiles and grout were now unrecognizably clean! Tile and grout areas only took about 20-30 minutes to dry. Carpeting was expected to dry in 6-8 hours with the A/C and ceiling fans being turned on as recommended. Some areas of the carpeting, i.e. the heavily soiled areas we were told might take longer to dry because of extra moisture used in the cleaning process. After the 6-8 hour period, most of the carpeting throughout the house was dry except for a few areas. I called Tiffany (again a breeze to deal with) to let her know, and she immediately sent the same technician to bring over (for 3-4 days) several commercial grade fans to dry those problem areas. After using the commercial grade fans, all the carpeting was appropriately dried. Overall, very impressed with the level of service provided and work performed. We were so thoroughly impressed that have decided we will continue to rely upon them for all our carpet, tile and grout cleaning needs in future.
