Heartland Steam Cleaning is a full-service carpet & upholstery restoration company serving the Kansas City metropolis. We offer a variety of services such as carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, Oriental rug cleaning and more. Our primary cleaning method is steam cleaning but we do utilize many cleaning methods that best fit the needs of our customers such as encapsulation cleaning, marble polishing and dry compound carpet cleaning.

We clean residential homes, commercial properties, government buildings, retail centers, coffee shops, restaurants and more. In 2019 we cleaned over 1 million square feet of carpet and are capable of cleaning 500,000 sq ft commercial buildings. The company was founded in 2006 and has grown every year since. Heartland Steam Cleaning is not a franchise and is not tied to any parent company. Our office is located in Olathe, KS but we serve most of the metro area.

• Carpet Cleaning Service

At Heartland Steam Cleaning, we use the hot-water extraction (steam cleaning) method in for residential carpet cleaning. There are many different competing cleaning practices, but steam cleaning is widely considered a superior restoration cleaning.

This method outperforms other methods when removing embedded soils and other contaminants that are trapped in your carpet. Steam cleaning is also the preferred carpet cleaning method by many major carpet manufacturers like DuPont and Shaw.

• Upholstery Cleaning Service

Professional steam-cleaning can greatly improve the appearance of upholstered furniture. Much like mattresses, upholstered furniture contains dead skin, dust mites and other soils. An effective way of prolonging the life of upholstery is to have it professionally cleaned.

In most cases, it's completely safe to steam-clean upholstery. Most fabrics used to manufacture furniture are made of synthetic materials such as nylon and polyester. Occasionally the fabric will be made of a natural fiber, and in upholstery that fiber is almost always cotton. These natural fibers like cotton, wool, and silk (which are considered "fine fabrics" in the industry) should be cleaned via a solvent cleaning or foam cleaning. There are many terms used to describe the cleaning process of natural fibers, but all that’s important is that it’s a low-moisture cleaning. This type of cleaning prevents the over-saturation that is unsafe for natural fibers. A prolonged drying or over-wetting can cause these types of fibers to lose color, start a browning process, or lose their form. Heartland Steam Cleaning technicians are fully trained to clean any type of fabric. We use specially designed tools that will safely and gently clean your furniture, down to the deepest folds and crevices.
