Individual Hand Washing
Since 1934, we have been individually hand-washing fine oriental rugs. This means that your rug will not share the same wash/rinse water with other rugs. It's a labor-intensive, time-consuming process, but it results in a clean-smelling, beautifully cleaned rug. A properly cleaned rug maintains its beauty for many years and brightens up any home. We are a family-owned business and we are proud to offer this service to New Jersey area customers and have been doing so for nearly 100 years.
Pets? No pets? Don't mingle odors!
Your pet's sense of smell is many times greater than that of a human. Pet dander, urine, fur, saliva - these odors end up in your rug. They also represent your pet's territory. Adding other pet odors may cause issues as your pet attempts to compensate for the presence of unwanted invaders. Because we don't combine your rug with other customers' rugs, these trace odors won't be transferred to your rugs. Many rug cleaners use large machines, which allow them to provide a fast and economical cleaning service but nothing beats individual hand washing.
